Time to stop dreaming

Dreaming of ideas is easy, letting the mind wander and dipping a toe in that meandering stream is relaxing and adventurous. Being led into dead ends, open waters, fast paced rivers and launched of waterfalls with no way to catch yourself is so exciting, it's all too easy to get caught up in it and simply enjoy that experience.

Realising that those journeys have become stories held in the imagination brings with it a frustration; "I will do something with them one day" is so easy to say.

At the end of 2018 a decision was made; I have stories, many many stories, I want to tell them, draw them, animate them, play them and use a game engine to do it.

I need a plan, deadlines, allocated time, the patience to listen, someone to lock me in a room until I have completed a simple task, discussed an idea or learnt a new trick. If it goes well, and often it does I will not want to leave that room.

At the end of 2019 I have a plan in action, and I have people willing to lock me in that room.

Its time to put into practice all the things I have read. Learn some new skills. Blow off the dust from my brain and flex those creative muscles.
